Brooklyn
* Brooklyn found her forever home with a wonderful person! Woo hoo! *
Brooklyn came into Hamilton Animal Services as a stray and was not claimed. She spent just over a month at the shelter, and when a foster home opened up we were happy to bring her into our care. Brooklyn told us how very happy she was to be out of a cage by doing lots of stretching, head bonking and rolling. Such a sweet kitty!
We got Brooklyn into the vet on her rescue day, and she received a clean bill of health. She was spayed a short time after, and everything went perfectly for her surgery. Brooklyn is now ready to find her forever home!
Here’s a note from Brooklyn’s foster mom:
“Brooklyn is a real sweetheart! She’s very good-natured, within a few minutes of getting let out of her carrier she was already flopping around for skritches and tummy rubs. She will headbonk and rub up against everything. She likes to spend her time napping, looking out the window, or batting a toy around. She’s more lap-adjacent rather than a lap cat at the moment, but she has started to sit on me for a few minutes here or there so I think she might work up to that point! She gets along okay with my other cats, but they’re not the most welcoming – I think if they were properly introduced, she’d make friends with a kitty roommate. Overall, Brooklyn is just a very chill, excellent cat! She’ll make somebody a really lovely companion.”
