Missy
* Missy has been adopted by wonderful people! Yay!
Missy came into Hamilton Animal Services as a stray, and was not claimed. We were thrilled to get this happy pup out of the shelter when a foster home became available. We had Missy spayed on her rescue day, and she went home with with her awesome foster family. Missy is all healed up from her surgery and is ready to find her forever home!
Here’s a note from her foster family:
“This is Missy, she is an energetic and loving dog who loves treats, running and attention!
Missy loves to be pet and to cuddle up in the sunshine or on a comfy spot. She often follows me around and loves to sit at my feet while I do household tasks or rest her head on me while lounging around. Missy is also great on car rides and loves to tag along.
She has a lot of energy and needs a lot of activity, stimulation and attention each day. She has been learning how to play fetch, but chasing other dogs and running around is her favourite.
Missy can sometimes get agitated when she hasn’t had enough time to play outside or run around. She can also get a bit carried away while playing where she will bite. Because of Missy nipping and biting when excited or playing, I would not recommend her to be in a house with young children.
She is so sweet and such a joy to be around!”
