When a Toronto area shelter, overrun with discarded Easter rabbits, got in touch with Ladybird and asked if we could take some rabbits before they had to start euthanizing for space, we were happy to oblige! We rescued Oreo from that shelter, had him neutered, and provided the care that he needed.

While in his foster home, Oreo was introduced to April the bunny. After a short time, they became the best of friends! Oreo and April can now be found grooming each other, snuggling together, and playing chase together during their ‘floor time.’ Oreo and April have been now been adopted as a pair! We wish them all the best in their new home. Yay Oreo and April!
