Sorbet
* Sorbet found her forever home with a lovely person! Yay! *
Sorbet was found as a stray and brought to Hamilton Animal Services. She spent a few months at the shelter, but nobody came forward to claim her and nobody wanted to adopt her because of her shy nature. A noisy shelter environment is no place for a kitty who is having a hard time trusting people. She was friendly with the shelter staff she was familiar with, and she’d come to them for head scritches and pats.
HAS reached out to us for help and we were happy to get this beautiful girl out of the shelter and into a quiet foster home. She had a vet visit and was given a clean bill of health. Sorbet is now ready to find her forever home!
Sorbet needs a quiet home where there are no small children and no other animals. She seeks out almost constant attention from her foster mom, so she’ll need a home where someone can spend a lot of time with her and allow her to sleep in the same room with humans. She can be vocal if locked out of the room where people are. She enjoys sitting right next to people and getting all the pats.
Sorbet has had spells of anxiety, so potential adopters will need to be extra patient with her to help her feel calm and comfortable. We don’t know what kind of trauma she has been through in her past, but she needs a forever home with a calm and loving people who can help her feel safe.
