Michele
* Romy and Michele found their forever home with lovely people! Woo hoo! *
Romy and Michele were found as strays and brought to Hamilton Animal Services. These poor kittens were covered in lice, they were infested with fleas and their ears were full of earmites. To top it off, they both had an upper respiratory infection and were sneezing their little heads off. Shelter staff got them cleaned up and started on medications to treat each ailment. Romy and Michele’s health greatly improved during their stay at the shelter.
When a foster home opened up, we were happy to get these sweet girls out of the shelter. First stop was the vet to be spayed. They did great for their surgeries, and they recovered perfectly in their foster home. They’re now ready to be adopted! Romy and Michele are very bonded and we’ll be asking they be adopted as a pair.
Here’s a note from their foster mom:
“These two are THE sweetest lil’ things! No need for a white noise machine with these girls, it’s just non-stop purring. Michele is definitely the braver of the two – she will come right up to you and demand cuddles. Romy is a bit skittish, but if you manage to land a skritch on her it’s like she suddenly remembers that she looooves it and will immediately flop over for more. When they’re not sitting at the window curiously watching the world go by, they’re chasing each other around the room or batting whatever toy they can get their paws on. And yet somehow, amidst this busy schedule, they still found time to invent post-it notes…”
Can’t adopt but want to help? Monetary donations are always needed, but donations of Royal Canin kitten food (canned and dry), newspaper based pellet litter, and scratch posts/pads for the kittens are very much appreciated!
