Annie
Notes: Annie came into Hamilton Animal Control with her litter of kittens. They were quite sick with an upper respiratory virus when they arrived at the shelter. Ladybird rescued the family from HAC and placed them into a foster home. They were under our vets care, and despite the medication and proper diet they were receiving, all but one of Annie’s kittens (Apple) passed away. Annie has very interesting front feet! She was born with a condition called Syndactyly (hypodactyly) which is the opposite of polydactyl. Instead of having additional toes, her front toes are fused, causing her paws to look kind of like lobster claws. Annie can walk and jump like any other cat though, and the condition doesn’t slow her down one bit!
Annie spent a couple of months in her foster home, then she found her forever home and she has become Dixie’s sister! Congrats Annie!
