* Toulouse has been adopted by his foster family! Woo hoo! *

Toulouse came into Hamilton Animal Services as a stray. When he arrived at the shelter, Toulouse was not neutered, his fur was matted and dirty, he was infested with fleas/ticks, and he was full of scars and open wounds. Safe to say Toulouse had been living outdoors on his own for quite a while. Despite his time on the streets, this boy is sweet as pie. He wants nothing but affection from all the humans he meets.
At the vet on his rescue day, we had Toulouse neutered and he received treatment for his wounds and parasites. A blood test revealed that he is FIV positive, but we’re not concerned as he’s otherwise healthy. Toulouse will get some healing time in his foster home to recover from his past life, and to get ready for his new and improved life! Once Toulouse is ready, he’ll be made available for adoption.
