Luna
Luna and Eclipse have been adopted by their foster family! Woo hoo!
Luna and Eclipse were brought to Hamilton Animal Services as strays. Though these little ones were too young to be away from their mom when they arrived, they were thankfully eating on their own. It’s clear Luna and Eclipse did not have a lot of positive human interaction, as they were very scared in the shelter, and would even hiss when staff came to their cage to clean or give them food and water. Despite their fear, Luna and Eclipse were okay to be picked up and handled without issue. They’re not mean kittens. Just scared kittens.
When a foster home became available. We were happy to get these two sweethearts out of the shelter. They had a vet visit on their rescue day, and all seems well with their health, aside from some diarrhea, which is common with kittens experiencing stress and who aren’t on a consistent diet of quality food. Luna and Eclipse are now all set up in their foster home where their foster mom will do her best to patiently coax them out of their shells. We know they’ll come around with time and love.
Luna and Eclipse will have another vet visit in a month, and if all is well, we hope they can start the search for their forever home shortly after. Unless their very strong bond is somehow broken between now and then, we’ll be asking that Luna and Eclipse be adopted as a pair.
Welcome to Ladybird, Luna and Eclipse! We’re so happy you’re here!
