* Annabelle found her forever home with lovely people and another pig to be friends with! Woo hoo! *

London Animal Care Centre reached out to us to help a solo guinea pig they had in their care. Annabelle had been brought into the shelter after being found abandoned in a park. We were happy to get this adorable pig out of the noisy shelter and into a quiet foster home.

Annabelle was transported to us via Critter Cabs volunteers. We’re very thankful for all the wonderful people who donate their time to drive rescued animals all across the country to safety.

Annabelle was given a clean bill of health at the vet, and she’s now ready to find her forever home!

Here’s a note from Annabelle’s foster mom:
“Annabelle is a very active and young at heart guinea pig. She loves running laps and gets very excited when she hears a bag crinkle! Annabelle enjoys all sorts of veggies and really likes when she has a nice pile of hay to root through. She is not good with quick movements but if you hold treats very still she will take them from your hand. She is great for snuggles but like most pigs, gets nervous about being picked up. Annabelle really wants a friend and I know she will enjoy life with a companion. She is perfect to go with other females or a neutered male. She is absolutely adorable in all ways.”
