* Scrambles has been adopted by his foster family! Woo hoo! *

Scrambles came to Hamilton Animal Services as a stray. Shelter staff traced his microchipped, but the chip information had not been updated. The phone number on file was out of service and the address was a dead end. Scrambles stayed at the shelter for an extended period of time, but his owner did not call or come looking for him. During his time at the shelter, Scrambles became a staff favourite because of his extremely sweet personality, and his handsome face. While at the shelter, Scrambles was seemingly healthy, but would occasionally have blood in his urine. The shelter had his urine tested and he was put on medication.
Ladybird was happy to get Scrambles out of the shelter when a foster home opened up. Scrambles has a vet visit coming up where he’ll get further testing to sort out the urine issue. We are hoping it turns out to be nothing too serious and that medication will take care of the problem. No matter what the outcome, we’ll see Scrambles through it and do our best to get him feeling better. Hopefully he’ll be able to start the search for his forever home soon.
