* Gibson has been adopted! Woo hoo! *

Gibson was surrendered to a Quebec shelter by his owners, but we were not told the reason why. The shelter was packed to the brim with animals, so they reached out for help. We were able to take Gibson in when a foster home opened up. Gibson travelled to Ontario by way of One Last Chance, and Freedom Drivers volunteers. We’re very thankful for all the wonderful people who donate their time to transport rescued animals all across the country.

Because guinea pigs do best in pairs or herds, we had Gibson neutered shortly after his rescue to make it easier for him to find a friend. When he’s healed from his surgery, Gibson will be made available for adoption. He’s getting lots of love and veggies in his foster home while he heals, and he’s a sweet pig so far.

Can’t adopt but want to help? Monetary donations are always needed, but donations of Oxbow Guinea Pig food, Oxbow “Natural Science” Vitamin C tablets, timothy hay, small animal chew toys, and fleece liners are very much appreciated!
