Anna
Anna and Abbey found a forever home together with a lovely person! Congratulations, girls!
New momma Anna and her adorable baby Abbey came to Hamilton Animal Services as strays. We were happy to get this sweet pair out of shelter when a loving foster home opened up. Both kitties were seen by our vet and given a clean bill of health. Anna is missing a bunch of her tail, which doesn’t seem to bother her at all. They are now getting used to their new surroundings where they can bond in safety. Anna is a very doting mom, and little Abbey is just the cutest little potato in the land.
Both girls will be with us for a while until they’ve had their spay surgeries, and we’ve had a chance to learn more about what their ideal future forever home might look like based on their personalities.
Welcome to Ladybird Anna and Abbey! We’re so happy you’re here.
UPDATE: November 20th, 2024
We’re happy to report that Anna was spayed and that went really well! Anna is now ready to find her forever home. Please adopt Anna!
Here is an update from their foster home:
“Anna and Abbey are the cutest little tuxie duo who could be adopted together, or separately. If separately, Anna should remain the only cat in the household, while Abbey will need a young kitty friend (or two) to pal around with. Anna is a quiet and calm lady who loves to be loved. She was an amazing Mom to her little babe Abbey because she is so patient and loving. She is outgoing with new people and enjoys being be patted. She loves to play, but she is also independent enough to entertain herself. She especially enjoys watching birds out the window! She isn’t keen on other cats so if you want more than one feline companion, you should adopt her with her baby, Abbey! Abbey is a little ball of energy! She loves all toys and is a whirlwind of energy when she’s playing. She is a bit shy with new people, but warms up quickly. She is just starting to understand that laps can be a great place for a nap, and she will probably be quite a good cuddler once she’s a bit older.”
