Nala
After eight Lionhead rabbits were abandoned in a park in Hamilton, they ended up at Hamilton Animal Control. Another shelter took four of the rabbits and put them up for adoption. Ladybird was able to rescue the remaining four. Meet Elsa and Nala! They are super cute Lionhead rabbits. Lionheads need a little more care than regular bunnies due to their long hair. Thankfully they enjoy being brushed! They also can’t be housed using wood shavings as they get caught in their fur and it ends up messy for everyone in the end!
Elsa and Nala enjoy their rabbit pellets, timothy hay and a bit of fruit or veggie treat every day. They have been spayed and we’d like to adopt Elsa and Nala as a pair as they are quite bonded to each other.
It only took a month for Nala and Elsa to find their forever home! They’re going to be spoiled and loved like crazy by their new family. Big thanks to Munchies Coffee House and Barkery for fostering Elsa and Nala and taking such good care of them.
UPDATE:
Here’s a note from Elsa & Nala’s new mom:
Hi Lisa,
I am still shocked that someone would dump these adorable, loving animas in a park. Elsa and Nala are the sweetest rabbits I have ever met. They snuggle and cuddle. They hang out on the couch and watch TV. They get along with Lucy, my golden retriever! All is wonderful. They have settled in nicely and are fantastic housemates! The xpen is supposed to arrive tomorrow which will give them lots of space. Thanks so much for bringing them into my life!!!
