* Grant found his forever home with lovely people and another pig to be friends with! Woo hoo! *
Though we’re already very full with guinea pigs, we couldn’t say no to this poor pig when Windsor Humane Society reached out to us to help him. Grant ended up at the shelter as a stray. He’s a sweet pig, but he had a very large mass that was impeding his mobility. We got Grant out of the shelter (thank you Critter Cabs volunteer drivers!) and he went straight to our vet. The mass was located in the mammary gland, and thankfully it could be removed. Grant was neutered while he was under and the surgery went great.
Now that he’s healed from surgery, Grant is ready for his forever home! Grant is a very nice pig. He loves to hang out in his hay pile and munch on his daily greens. With proper introductions, we think Grant would be a good piggy partner for another solo guinea pig.
