Patchy
Patchy was brought to Hamilton Animal Services after being found outdoors. Patchy was suffering from a severely injured foot and wing. Shelter staff took Patchy to the vet where they amputated the end of one of his injured toes, and started him on medication. Because of financial restrictions placed on them by the municipality, the shelter were at the limit of the amount of money they are allotted for an individual animal’s medical care, so they reached out to us for help.
We got Patchy out of the shelter and straight to our vet where he had a secondary exam. Though he is looking pretty rough, Patchy seems to be on the road to recovery. He was transferred to his foster home and is doing well there so far. We hope Patchy will continue to heal physically and mentally from his trauma, and we’re willing to give him all the time he needs. When he’s ready, Patchy will be made available for adoption.
Welcome to Ladybird, Patchy! We’re so happy you’re here!
