Athena ended up at Hamilton Animal Services as a stray. No owner came forward to claim her (probably because she wasn’t a stray, and is one of the many, many rabbits being dumped by heartless owners) She is the cutest little bun! Such a doll. When a foster home opened up, we were happy to get Athena out of the shelter and straight to the vet for a health check and spay. She did great for surgery, and she’s now settling in at her foster home where she’ll have some time to heal. We hope to try to bond Athena with another rabbit who will be joining us soon, and we’ll keep you posted on how it goes!
