Mama M gave birth to two perfect babies on February 18th, 2025. Mousse and Meringue were the cutest siblings, and their mom did a great job raising them. At four weeks old, the little family had a vet visit, and they were all given a clean bill of health. Mousse was confirmed to be male, and Meringue female. After the appointment, Mousse was separated from his mom and sister, and we’re hoping he will find a forever home asap so he doesn’t have to be alone for too long.
Mousse has lots of energy, and can be found zooming around his enclosure at top speed. He loves his snuggle sack, and will have serious naps when he’s all tuckered out from all the zooming. He loves the daily leafy greens he is offered, and a favourite activity is hanging out in his timothy hay pile and munching the day away. Despite daily handling by his foster family, Mousse still has a bit of a skittish nature that he gets from his mom. He will come to the side of his enclosure, stand up on his hind legs and wheek loudly when he knows a treat is coming. He will now take treats from your hands if you’re gentle and slow with movement.
Mousse must be adopted to a home where there are other guinea pigs for him to be friends with. He will be a lovely companion for another male pig, or a spayed female.
