Notes: The Ladybird Animal Sanctuary rescued Periwinkle from Hamilton Animal Control where she found herself as a stray. Periwinkle is probably the friendliest bunny we’ve met! She loves attention and to be petted. She is very curious and loves to explore her surroundings. Periwinkle was in a foster home with cats and small dogs, and she got along well with all of them! Because she is a bigger bunny, Periwinkle couldn’t be housed in the types of rabbit cages they sell in pet stores. In foster care she was housed in two x-pens put together so she had lots of room to move around when she wasn’t out for her floor time. We’re so happy to report that Periwinkle has been adopted!

We ask that our rabbits not be housed in the types of rabbit cages they sell in pet stores. Commercially made pet store rabbit cages are far too small to allow rabbits to stretch out and move around with ease.
