Rescued from Hamilton Animal Control and currently in foster care, Ava is one of the friendliest kittens we’ve met! It was really hard to get a photo of her because she never stops moving! She is constantly rubbing and snuggling and her ‘happy feet’ are always on the go. She’s been adopted by her foster home and her new owners could not be more thrilled.

UPDATE: January 11th, 2012

We are so happy to have Ava as a new member of our family! We actually decided to change her name to Penelope! We mostly just call her “Squeeky” though because she never meows, but always squeeks at us! As we got to know her and we saw how goofy and dopey she is, Ava just
felt too serious for her! She is also moving into her teenager phase, so she is a little moody and likes to pick on all of us sometimes, but it is hilarious! I think that her and Mews are still working things out, but they rarely play roughly with each other and seem to be more comfortable in each other’s presence. I can’t thank you, Janine, and Melissa enough! I admire everything you have done and look forward to being a part of the things that you will be doing in the future!

I attached a picture of Penelope to this email, she likes to sleep beside me when I’m sitting in my computer chair! I will send more pictures soon, I’m trying to organize a picture of the four of us, but apparently this is going to take some doing!
