Soleil
Notes: Picked up on the harsh, unforgiving streets of downtown Hamilton, thrown away like garbage, Soleil started life her life as a stray. Unwanted, abandoned, alone but lucky enough not to be destined to live out whatever days she had in a metal cage (kitty prison) in a hill kill facility. On one of their many rescues, Ladybird was thrilled to rescue her after she had spent half of her short life in prison.
The moment Soleil’s metal cage door was opened (at the facility) she gingerly crept into her foster mom’s arms and was put in the cat carrier for transport. Her foster mom recalls that Soleil did not make a single sound all the way back to her foster home in Burlington. Turns out that she is an incredible traveller and curls up in the carrier for car rides without the usual meowing.
Thankfully, Soleil was adopted to a home where she has another cat to be friends with. And that cat’s name happens to be Luna!
