The Ladybird Animal Sanctuary rescued Ellie May from Hamilton Animal Control where she had found herself as a stray. Ellie May is just the cutest little cat! She is a petite little thing and she is happy as can be. Ellie May has lots of energy, and LOVES to play. She’s all for a good cuddle too. Ellie May has a chronic runny eye, but it doesn’t cause her any problems and she doesn’t need any medication for it. Just a nutritious diet to keep her healthy.
Ellie May found her forever home with a lovely family!

A note from Ellie May’s adopter: “Hello Ladies,
Hope you are having a great summer ! Just wanted to share some adorable videos of Ellie and my puppy Milo with you. They have developed a very strong bond, Ellie follows Milo everywhere, she sleeps with him, washes him and they play games together. I think Ellie thinks Milo is a cat or she thinks she is a dog:0)
Just wanted to share a success story, she is one happy, adorable cat.
Have a great one!

A note from Ellie May’s adopter:
Hello Ladies,
I wanted to share a success story for Ellie for the Christmas updates.
We adopted Ellie in June and she has been an absolute delight ! She is in love with our puppy Milo, they are each others best friends, they sleep together, play together, Ellie even tries to eat Milo’s food. She is his shadow and follows him everywhere. She even plays “fetch” (when my husband throws her toys, she brings them to him so that he would throw the toy again ) !
Ellie was very ill in September, but the little fighter that she is, she pulled through. Since we had to leave her at the vet over night, she was hooked up to an IV and barely responsive, the next day she got better and she ripped the IV out of her paw & trashed her cage, she was ready to go home !
Our older cat Bobbie (who’s ten years old) did not accept her at the beginning, but they are slowly becoming friends, he is starting to warm up to her and even allows her to sleep near him.
She is definitely a character, we love her to pieces and are forever grateful to the Ladybird Animal Sanctuary for saving her !!!
