We rescued Laverne and Shirley from Hamilton Animal Control.
They are sweet and lovely rats who are bonded, so they need to be adopted as a pair.

These sweethearts will make lovely pets for someone with patience and time to spend with them. They are a little nervous in new surroundings, but they are friendly once they are comfortable. They enjoy exploring, snuggling together in their hammock, and they’re up to trying just about any new food their foster home offers them.

We recommend a large cage with multi levels for our adoptable rats. One of the best cages for rats is the Critter Nation cage. These cages are a little more expensive, but they are high quality, spacious for pets and are worth the extra money in the long run. Critter Nation cages can be found at most pet supply stores.
