Millicent
Millicent was rescued from Hamilton Animal Control after having been there for a month. “Millie” (AKA; Moo, MilliVanilli) is an extremely loving and social polydactyl kitty (extra toes on all paws). She’s the perfect petit lap cat and just wants kindness, affection, belly rubs and snuggles. She’ll give you lots of kisses in return! Since being out of the shelter, Millie took some time to get to feeling physically and emotionally well. When she first came into our care she weighed about as much as a pound of butter, was as dirty as can be, quite withdrawn and a little bit ambivalent to life and her situation. She didn’t even care to run from the vacuum cleaner when it was on. She’s now become a chubby and playful kitty, clean and leery of vacuums (which is a sure sign that her natural instincts have come back to her).
Since being in the care of Ladybird, Millie has pulled a 180 and is doing really great! Her upper respiratory virus has cleared up so no more sniffles! Her teeth were in extremely terrible condition and were causing her a lot of pain. When the vets went in to take a closer look the decision was made to remove all of her teeth. She’s feeling great since having her surgery, has no trouble eating wet food or kibble.
Millie is so excited to report that she has found her forever home!
