Posey
* Pansy and Posey found their forever home together with wonderful people! *
Back in 2014, Ladybird rescued Posey and Pansy from Hamilton Animal Control where they found themselves as strays. They were too young to be adopted when they first came to us, but after some love and care from their foster mom, they grew strong and healthy and were adopted.
Fast forward two years, and unfortunately (through no fault of their own), Pansy and Posey were returned to us and they are now back in Ladybird’s care.
They are more than ready to find their forever home now!
Here’s a note from their foster home:
“Pansy and Posey are such sweet and funny little girls and have been a wonderful addition to our home over the last 5 months. When we first brought them home from the vet, they were very stressed and anxious, and they took a long time to adapt and become comfortable in their environment. They both have bald patches on their bodies from over-grooming, which the vet says is a habit and nothing to be concerned about. They are very affectionate. Posey (the black one) will aggressively head bonk you and get right up in your face until she gets your attention. She will flop down and roll around on the ground, begging for belly rubs, and will follow you around the house. She is very curious and likes to explore, so she is always on the go, unless it’s nap time of course. Pansy (the grey one), is true to her name and is a bit more timid, but she will curl up beside you on the couch or on your lap when she’s ready for some pets and chin scratches. They are both very playful and love running around the house, chasing each other or our other cats, who sadly want nothing to do with them. They get along with our 6 cats, so I think they would be fine in a house with other felines, but I’m not sure how they would react to dogs as they’ve not been around them in the time they’ve been with us. They are litter mates and have been together since birth, so they are very bonded and must be adopted as a pair. They have such lovely personalities and are a joy to be around, and would make a wonderful addition to any family. Please adopt Pansy and Posey!”
Please adopt Pansy and Posey!
