Bentley
* Bentley found his forever home with lovely people! *
We rescued Bentley from a high-kill shelter in Laval, Quebec where he was signed over by his owners because they didn’t want him anymore.
Thanks to the lovely people at T.E.A.M Cat and Dog Rescue, Bentley was delivered to us through a series of volunteer drivers. He came all the way from Quebec to Hamilton where we were happy to collect him!
We had Bentley neutered and he settled into his foster home well. He likes exploring and hanging out with his foster family. He is an extremely friendly bunny who will seek out attention and loves pats and ear scritches. There are dogs and cats in his foster home and he gets along great with them.
We ask that our rabbits not be housed in the types of rabbit cages they sell in pet stores. Our fostered rabbits are housed in x-pens or similar enclosures so they have lots of room to move around when they aren’t out for floor time. Commercially made pet store rabbit cages are far too small to allow rabbits to stretch out and move around with ease.
Here are some great websites outlining alternative rabbit housing using x pens and similar enclosures.
