Perry
Rescued from Hamilton Animal Control, Perry, his mom Stella and his two brothers – Parker and Pickles – came to us in rough shape. They had been surrendered to Animal Control because the owner could no longer care for them. All four cats had upper respiratory virus. These cats have all been through a rough ordeal in a short time, but are now doing great after their foster mom nursed them back to health and gave them the love that they deserved. Perry has now found his forever home with a great adopters. We wish Perry all the best!
UPDATE: January 17th, 2012
I must say, when we left on Sunday, I was a bit worried that it might take him a little bit of time to settle in, but he is doing AMAZING! After about 5 minutes of being home, Armani (Perry) came out to explore. By the end of the night, he jumped into our laps and wanted lots of love! He slept on his own and without crying his first night.
He’s exploring every inch of our condo. He’s been eating, drinking, and using his litterbox just fine. He loves to cuddle, especially after a couple hours of running around/playing. He has stopped hissing altogether, and loves when we pet him (especially his tummy!). He’s very vocal. At first, I thought they were cries for Mommy, but I’m beginning to think he’s just talking because he only meows when he’s playing and exploring. We have had some company over to visit him and Armani acted like a perfect gentleman. He was a bit shy, but came out to get some attention after a couple of minutes.
I’ve got some great pictures of him, and will send them soon!
I want to thank you again, he’s absolutely adorable and a perfect addition to our little family! We promise to take good care of him!
