Pancake
We rescued Pancake from a high-kill shelter in Quebec. He’s been neutered and is now ready to find his forever home!
Pancake is a friendly and inquisitive rabbit. Like with most rabbits, Pancake isn’t a fan of being picked up, but he does like cuddles and behind-the-ear scratches. He enjoys time outside his enclosure, so his exploring space will have to be bunny proofed. Daily treats of romaine lettuce, kale, carrots, apple and other fruits and veggies are always welcomed.
Our fostered rabbits are housed in x-pens or similar enclosures so they have lots of room to move around when they aren’t out for floor time. Commercially made pet store rabbit cages are far too small to allow rabbits to stretch out and move around with ease. We require our rabbits to be housed in x-pens or similar large enclosures in their forever home.
Here are some great websites outlining alternative rabbit housing using x pens and similar enclosures.
