Lucy
We rescued Lucy and Desi from Hamilton Animal Control where they ended up as strays.
These two are quite bonded and spent their time at the shelter snuggled up to each other for comfort. They’re not siblings, but they sure do love each other, so we’re asking that they be adopted as a pair.
Here’s a note from their foster home:
“These 2 are such loving babies. Lucy is very shy at first. Once past that, she loves to jump up into your arms, or onto the back of your shoulders, and this is at least a daily ritual. She wants love and begins to purr loudly at this point. It is important for her nails to be cut and this can be a bit of a challenge. 2 pairs of hands will be helpful. Thankfully Lucy’s coat is thin and soft so far, because she doesn’t enjoy being brushed. Lucy loves to play with Desi. They run and hide and chase each other all of the time. She watches and learns things from him.
Desi is also a big lovebug. He adores being held and carried in your arms, he purrs and closes his eyes when this happens. He is immediately friendly. Desi needs regular brushing, especially his back, to prevent matting.
Both Lucy and Desi love to lick you. They also like to chew, zippers, purses, and sometimes you. It isn’t intended harmfully and is easily managed. Lucy and Desi respond to many voice requests.
They are truly a pleasure to share life with.”
Lucy and Desi found their forever home with lovely people!
