Rescued from Hamilton Animal Control, Opal was left outside of an apartment building in a box for three days before she was finally discovered by a passerby. She was taken to Hamilton Animal Control, and after a short stay, the Ladybirds rescued her from there. She was only in foster care for a short time before she was adopted to a wonderful home!

Sad news this morning. Opal became ill and had to be humanly euthanized yesterday to end her suffering. Our hearts go out to Opal’s family. She was a cherished member of their family and they loved her dearly. Sleep well Opal. You will be missed…
