We rescued Daisy from Hamilton Animal Control. While Daisy was at the vet to be spayed, and just after she was put under anaesthetic, she stopped breathing. The vet did everything she could to try to save Daisy, but it was to no avail. There are a very small percentage of rabbits who don’t respond well to anaesthetic, (much like people) and unfortunately Daisy happened to be one of them.
