Robin
We rescued Robin from Hamilton Animal Control where she found herself as a stray. What a lovely, lovely cat Robin is! Happy as can be, and never stops purring. We have no idea why someone would let this sweet girl go, but we are glad to be able to rescue her and find her a forever home where she will be loved and appreciated for the awesome kitty she is!
Here’s a note from Robin’s foster home:
“Robin is the cutest, sweetest, funniest, most playful little girl (with the grumpiest looking face) that we’ve ever fostered. With all new fosters, we usually wait at least two weeks before letting them out of the room and introducing them to the rest of our herd…and usually the introductions are done very gradually, given our other cats’ tendencies to…ahem…not be very welcoming to newcomers, to put it gently. Well not with Robin! There was no keeping her in that room, and after a few days she just trounced out, introduced herself to everyone, and began booting around our house like she owned the place. There were, of course, many hisses and growls from our other adult cats…but despite her pint-sized body, Robin stood her ground and gave as good as she got, and she now bounces around here like she’s always been here. The integration was fairly seamless and she’s not been back in the foster room since. She’s very playful, and has a favorite toy…a giant soft mouse with catnip that she loves to lay down with and kick and punch and groom…it’s really quite funny to watch. Seeing her give ‘er on this giant mouse that is almost the same size as she is always puts smiles on our faces. She also loves watching the birds through the window (she makes this funny cackling noise), toys on a string, and of course, chasing the laser pointer. She’s apparently only 7 or 8 months old, so she’s still a kitten and not quite a full grown cat, but she’s got the tiniest, funniest-looking little face I’ve ever seen on a kitten. That face will make you laugh AND will melt your heart when she’s looking up at you sleepily while curled up on your lap. Although she’s very energetic and is constantly booting around like a maniac on speed, she’s also very affectionate and loves snuggling up for cuddles and chin rubs when she’s all tuckered out from playing.
Robin is a sweet, funny little girl who loves people and who gets along well with other cats, and would make a great addition to any family. Because she’s young and energetic, however, I do think that she would prefer to have a playmate in her forever home.”
Robin found her forever home with awesome people!
