Dottie
Dottie was found as a stray. She had a large wound on her back when she was found, and she was taken to an emergency vet clinic where she received some treatment. She was then sent to the local animal shelter where it was hoped she would be claimed by her owner. No owner came forward, and because the shelter is “high-kill”, Dottie’s life was in jeopardy.
While at the shelter rescuing other cats, we noticed Dottie, and even though we didn’t have a foster home for her to go to, we just couldn’t leave her at the shelter in the state she was in. We rescued her and took her straight to our vet where she could get proper treatment for her injuries. Dottie’s wound has been stitched up and she has healed well.
Lucky Dottie found her forever home with her foster family! Congrats Dottie!
