* Mowgli found his forever home with an awesome family!*

Ladybird rescued Mowgli from a high-kill shelter in Laval, Quebec.  Mowgli is a very friendly cockatiel! He’ll jump onto your finger and run up to your shoulder for scritches. So sweet!

According to his leg band, Mowgli is 11 years old, but you’d think he was a much younger bird.

Here’s a report from Mowgli’s foster home:
“Mowgli (AKA Moguls) is a funny little bird. He is quite talkative and loves to chat to himself in his mirror. He sings lots of fabulous birdy songs and can be quite cheeky when you are on the phone trying to talk louder than you! He absolutely LOVES neck scratches and will sit on your shoulder with his head down just waiting for attention. Mowgli seems to prefer men and will leap from his cage for a manly shoulder to stand on. He can be nippy at times, as all birds can, but he doesn’t mean any harm. Mowgli hasn’t been too interested in any of the toys in his cage (except of course his mirror) but he does love his millet! Mowgli is full of personality and would make a wonderful feathered friend.”
