Hayley
** Hayley has been adopted! **
Ladybird rescued Hayley, Latte, Sunny and Curtis from Hamilton Animal Control where they found themselves as strays. The staff at HAC said these kittens had the worst case of flea infestation they had ever seen. There were literally thousands of fleas running all over these poor babies. It was so bad, a couple of the kittens became anemic from it. HAC staff treated the fleas with a topical flea solution and Ladybird rescued the kittens the next day. There were still dead fleas falling off of the kittens when we took them for their vet check. So gross!
The kittens’ foster family did a great job getting them cleaned up and healthy enough to be ready for adoption…and now the time has come for them to find their forever homes!
Here’s a note from the foster family about their personalities:
“Hayley is an exceptionally pretty girl with one lovely shock of orange on her head and another on her back paw to match. She is already a skillful hunter and almost always wins out when chasing a toy with her brothers and sister. She loves to be petted and held.
Curtis…just about the most adorable thing on four legs. Curtis is so small and fluffy that he is nearly cube shaped. He LOVES to cuddle and will curl up on top of you (usually right beneath your chin) if you lay down. He is a playful little guy although not terribly coordinated yet. He looks like a bunny when he runs, it’ll bring tears to your eyes 🙂
Latte is a very intelligent little beauty. The first to venture downstairs on her own and the first to introduce herself to the resident cats. She seems to have an engineer type mind, always figuring out how she can get to where she wants to be. Her new parents should give her lots to stimulate her active mind and definitely a big climbing condo to play on. Latte responds well to love and purrs almost instantly when she gets it.
Sunny is a sweet, gentle kitten with the most beautiful purr…is has a little trill at the end, very unique. He purrs the minute you pet him too. Loves to play and run with his siblings.”
We require kittens be adopted in pairs if there are no other animals in the adopter’s home.
* Please Note *
There has been an overwhelming interest in this particular litter of kittens, so processing applications may take some time. Please be patient with us if it takes a while for us to respond to your application/inquiry. We all volunteer our time here and we try to do our best with Ladybird, on top of our full time jobs, families and our own pets to care for. It can get a little crazy for us, so we really appreciate your patience…
