Minou
Originally rescued from Hamilton Animal Control, Minou came into HAC as a stray. Her kennel card stated she was pregnant, and she certainly looked it with her big belly. The Ladybird Animal Sanctuary rescued Minou from the shelter and took her straight to a vet clinic where the vet also said she was pregnant. Minou was placed into a foster home where she could have, and raise her babies in comfort. But after a few weeks, her belly gradually got smaller instead of bigger, and it became pretty obvious that she was having us all on! Our vets are chalking it up to a “false pregnancy” which sometimes happens to cats and dogs. So….we had Minou spayed, and not too long after, Minou was adopted. Unfortunately, more than a year later, Minou’s adopters decided they were unable to keep her, and she was returned to us. Luckily, Minou had only been back in our care for a little more than a week before she was adopted again! We wish her all the best in her new home, and we know it will really be “forever” this time! Congrats Minou!
