Posey
Ladybird rescued Posey from Hamilton Animal Control where she ended up after her owners signed her over. She’s a friendly and fairly calm little pig, and she’d love a forever home where she has another female, or neutered male guinea pig to be friends with.
Posey’s bottom teeth were a bit long, so our vets gave them a quick trim. Guinea pigs need a constant source of timothy hay and chew toys to keep their teeth from growing too long. Guinea pig owners need to be diligent about checking their teeth often for issues. Overgrown teeth can prevent pigs from eating and can possibly cause serious injury. Otherwise, Posey is healthy and happy and ready to find her forever home!
Guinea pigs need a large enclosure that is bigger than the typical cages sold in pet stores. Visit www.guineapigcages.com for ideas for DIY and larger cages you can purchase.
