Bogart
We rescued Bogart from Hamilton Animal Control where he found himself as a stray. He was already neutered, so at one time he belonged to someone, but nobody ever came looking for him when he ended up at HAC. Bogart was very thin and his coat wasn’t in the best condition. He had a couple of vet visits, and his foster home did a great job of getting some weight on him. Blood tests came back normal, and our vets gave us the go-ahead to make him available for adoption!
Bogart is a real purr monster! Such a sweetie this guy is…
Here’s a note from Bogart’s foster mom:
“Let me just tell you about Bogart…
He is a very laid-back cat. He shows no interest in toys but is quite content to be carried around or sprawled on a lap. His coat is glossy and surprisingly low-shedding. I combed him for quite a few minutes and the comb had only a few hairs in it…his coat does not appear to be prone to matting either. I don’t know anything about ragdolls but he certainly fits the name
Bogart would be the perfect companion for a quiet person, perhaps one that worked from home or was retired. He is social (with people) but he has shown little interest in coming out of his room to mingle with our cat brood. He truly never seems to stop purring.
He is very neat with his food and litterbox too.”
Bogart found his forever home with lovely people!
