Estelle
Estelle found herself at Hamilton Animal Control as a stray. She’s a lovely girl, though a little shy. We rescued her from HAC and took her straight to the vet for a check-up. Turns out Estelle is already spayed. Not sure why she was abandoned since she clearly belonged to someone, but we’re happy to give her a fresh start and find her a home who will love her and keep her forever!
Here’s a note from Estelle’s foster home:
“Estelle is a pretty girl who is looking for a quiet forever home that will allow her to get comfortable and come out of her shell.
She is a sweet girl who does not love being picked up or held but does like to be pet and scratched. She also loves kisses on her head.
At first, Estelle was not friendly towards the cats in her foster home, but over time she came to accept them…though mostly from a distance. She would prefer to be the only kitty in her new home, but one other cat may be okay too.
She does not mind the dog in her foster home and would do ok with a calm, cat savy dog who will give her a lick or sniff but then let her have her space and time for their friendship to blossom.
Estelle would do ok with older children in her home but she is not a good match for younger kids. Estelle LOVES to play! She has many favourite toys that she will entertain herself with for hours on end.
Unfortunately black cats are often over looked when it comes to being adopted and with Estelle being a black cat with a bit of a diva personality it is going to make it harder for her to find a forever home.
If you have a special place in your heart for the under dog, or in this case underCAT, please consider adopting Estelle.”
Estelle found her forever home with a lovely person!
