Pebbles
We rescued Pebbles from Hamilton Animal Control where she found herself as a stray. When we rescued her, Pebbles’ nails were very overgrown and her teeth were horrendously rotten. But she was a happy, energetic girl, and wagged her tail through her whole rescue and vet visit. She had dental surgery to remove the rotten teeth, and she came through the surgery like a champ. Pebbles had some healing time in her foster home, and now she’s ready to find her forever home!
Pebbles would do best in a home where her people are around her most of the time. She suffers from separation anxiety and can get very stressed when her foster mom leaves the house…even for just a short amount of time. Her foster family are working on helping her be more relaxed when they’re out of the home, but Pebbles would certainly prefer to be with her humans most of the time. So, someone who works full time or is out of the house all day would not be the best candidate for Pebbles.
Here’s a note from Pebbles’ foster home:
“Pebbles is the perfect companion!
Pebbles is a happy and energetic senior Jack Russell who loves to go on walks, play fetch or sit and cuddle on your lap. She is very easy going and has no issues with other dogs, food, behavioural issues and has no prey drive while out on walks. She will also entertain herself as she loves her toys and never chews or destroys her stuff. She has a wagging tail for everyone she meets (including children) and will run up to pretty much anyone for pets. Pebbles would love a home where she can spend as much time as possible with her family as she has lots of love to give!”
Pebbles found her forever home with lovely people!
