Margot
We rescued Margot from Hamilton Animal Control.
Back in mid-August, Margot fell about 70 feet from a balcony. Animal Control took her to the vet where they found that she had broken some of her back toes and had cracked/knocked out a couple of teeth. She stayed at the vet for a short time, then she was transferred to Animal Control for cage rest and to wait out her stray time. Margot is microchipped, but the owner the chip traced to had given Margot away and didn’t have the contact info of her new owner. Nobody came forward to claim Margot, so we were happy to rescue her. Margot spent a short time at our vet where she had a check-up, xrays and vaccines. Our vets advised that her toes should have been splinted when they were first broken, but they have now healed and she’s doing well as far as getting around. Her teeth were not of any concern at this point, so thankfully there was no issue there. Our vets assured us that Margot isn’t in any pain and won’t need any further treatment for her injuries. Margot is a very sweet cat despite all she’s been through. She purred and head-bonked all through her rescue and vet visit. Margot is a real love bug!
Here’s a note from Margot’s foster home:
“Margot is an independent kitty who likes her quiet time. She’s a sassy girl, and she loves pets, head bonks and cuddles…but she isn’t afraid to let you know when she’s had enough! Her favourite activities include relaxing, fur maintenance and being cute. Margot would do best in a calm environment with a patient family.”
Margot’s foster family became her forever family! Yay!
