Oscar
Rescued from Hamilton Animal Control, currently in foster care. Oscar is a very sad case. He was signed over to the shelter by his owners who claimed they ‘couldn’t care for him anymore.’ They left Oscar with a severe skin condition and an issue with his back legs, which dragged when he walked. We rescued Oscar from the shelter before he could be euthanized and brought him to the vet. The skin problem turned out to be a serious infestation of mites, and his mobility issues were probably caused by a lack of proper nutrition. The vet has treated the mites, and Oscar’s foster home did an amazing job helping him get well again. He has now recovered complete use of his back legs and his skin is looking amazing! This guy truly deserves a good home after all he’s been through.
