Bobbie-Sue
We rescued Bobbie-Sue from Hamilton Animal Control. Unfortunately, Bobbie-Sue’s previous owners were evicted, so Bobbie-Sue was removed from the home and ended up at HAC. She was infested with fleas and was quite thin when she arrived at the shelter. Bobbie-Sue is extremely friendly, so thankfully it seems she hasn’t been too affected by her ordeal. Bobbie-Sue is feeling much better now, and she has been spayed, so she’s ready to find her forever home!
Here’s a note from Bobbie-Sue’s foster home:
“Bobby Sue is a people kitty! She loves all people, big and small! She loves getting pets so much she will stand up to reach my hand. She will come when called and loves to sleep cuddled up in bed all night. She meows with excitement when anyone walks in the room and will sit on anyone’s lap for a cheek rub. She is not shy! She likes to be carried and will just sit in my arms while I walk around the house, purring away! She loves belly rubs and will flop right over for one and purrs constantly!
Bobby Sue is a dominant cat. She would be okay with an easy going dog that gives her space or ignores her. She will go close to my dogs and even sleep near them but if one of them walks up to her she will give them a swat and let them know their relationship is on her terms. She is okay with our submissive cat. If he gets in her area she will give him a swat to let him know that she’s the boss but other than that they get along fine. I would not recommend she live with another dominant cat as they could end up in a fight for the top spot.
Bobby Sue is part Persian so she does have leaky Persian eyes. Her adopter will need to wipe her eyes with a moist tissue every day to remove some of that residue and keep her comfortable. Bobby Sue is wonderful in the house but she has run for the front door a few times when someone goes in and out so her adopter will have to be vigilant about that.
Bobby Sue is a petite girl with loads of love and loads of personality! She’s sweet but also sassy. She has resting grumpy face, sometimes hangs her tongue out of her mouth for minutes at a time, and has brown spots on her bottom lip so it always looks like her mouth is hanging partway open. Such a character!
She’s not big on toys unless there’s cat nip inside and she enjoys using her scratching post.
If you’re looking for a cat who is always happy to see you and spend time with you and wants to be your best friend then look no further!”
Bobbie-Sue found her forever home with lovely people!
