Tara
Tara ended up at Hamilton Animal Control when she was found alone on the street. Why Tara was outdoors on her own, we’ll never know, but thankfully someone brought her to safety. Tara had a very prolapsed rectum and was in desperate need of treatment, which Animal Control provided her.
When we finally had a foster home open up, we were happy to rescue her! Tara’s bum is looking and feeling much better now, and she’s ready to find her forever home!
Tara has A LOT of energy. She loves to play and will follow her foster family around the house looking for attention and someone to play with her. Her foster family believes Tara would be happy to have a cat or dog companion in her forever home. It would have to be a kitty or pup who could keep up with her endless energy!
Here’s a note from her foster home:
“Tara is both curious and fearless so she needs a little help staying out of trouble like climbing into and onto things. She is super high energy and other than a little bit of a siesta from 2-4 in the afternoon, she goes and goes and goes all day and evening. Tara loves people and is the first one to greet a knock a the door with a happy meow and a rub against your legs. She’s not a quiet cuddler, but she loves to sit on the back of the couch and play with our girls’ ponytails and lick their faces. Because she’s so active, Tara loves to play with kids, but does not have the patience or gentleness for a toddler’s attentions. She loves to chase crumpled paper balls and anything that jingles; she cannot resist a dangling toy or a cardboard box and she is always up for a new game. Tara doesn’t like to be left alone and will sit at a closed door and meow for you to come and play again. She’s going to add so much fun and energy to her forever home!”
Tara found her forever home with lovely people!
