Abba
* Abba found her forever home with lovely people! *
We rescued Abba from Hamilton Animal Control. Abba was brought into HAC as a stray. HAC staff found that she had a microchip, but when they called the chip company to try to find her owners, the chip was not registered to anyone. And unfortunately, the organization who had originally implanted the chip had not kept any records.
Abba had some serious matting on her back, mostly because she is too fat to turn and groom herself there. We started her on a weight loss food to help her out with that.
She had a trip to the vet for a check-up, a shave down and her rabies vaccine, and her foster home reports that she is ready to find her forever home…and it will have to be with someone who is willing to give her all the cuddles!
Here’s a note from Abba’s foster home:
“Abba is an extremely affectionate cat. She is most content curled up next to her humans, purring away. She will be vocal if she feels she is not getting the attention she deserves, and implore you to pet her with big eyes. That being said she will disappear off to her favourite sleeping spot throughout the day to relax on her own. She is overweight at the moment so not very playful, but the diet and stairs at her foster home seem to be having an effect. Abba is the cat for you if you’re looking for a very relaxed and cuddly cat.”
Please adopt Abba!
