Barley
We rescued Barley from Hamilton Animal Control where he ended up as a stray. Poor Barley has many scrapes and scabs, and had clearly not been very well cared for…if cared for at all. Could be that he had been outdoors on his own for some time. We’ll never know for sure.
Either way, we got Barley to safety in his foster home. We had him to the vet to be neutered and blood tested. Barley is FIV and FeLV free!
Despite the poor condition he was in when we rescued him, Barley is a sweet boy…happy to have some ear scratches and chin rubs. He’ll make someone a lovely companion!
Here’s a note from Barley’s foster home:
“Meet Barley! This handsome guy is such a gentleman! A very clean, friendly cat, you would never know he was once on the street. Barley loves to be groomed and will show his appreciation by licking your hand..likely so you don’t stop! He will make an excellent addition to a loving family. He seems fine with other cats and because he is so docile, would probably be good with a small dog as well. Barley is very affectionate and likes to talk, although he is quiet! We love him and know a forever family will too!”
Barley has been adopted by lovely people!
