** Star and Candy found their forever home with lovely people! **

We rescued Star and Candy from Hamilton Animal Control. Star and Candy were surrendered to animal control when their owner moved. They are sweet and affectionate kitties, and they are quite bonded to each other. We don’t know for certain, but we are pretty sure that Candy is Star’s mom.

While at the shelter, Candy had to have an emergency spay surgery when she developed pyometra . She came through the surgery well and is feeling much better now.
We had Star spayed, and now that they’re both healed from their surgeries, Star and Candy are ready to find their forever home!
Here’s a note from their foster mom:
“These two pretty girls are mother and daughter and completely devoted to each other. They are both pretty chill. They love: exploring, windows, chin scratches, cuddles, food, playing, sunshine to sleep in.
Star, the daughter is more of a lap cat than Candy, the mum. But they both love human company.
They tolerate our dog and cats but would probably be happier in a home without other pets.”
