Millie
We rescued Millie from Hamilton Animal Control. She came into HAC as a stray, but nobody came looking for her if she was truly a missing cat.
Millie is a lovely girl. She’s a bit shy, but once she’s comfortable, she will give out as many head bonks as you want!
Millie had a dental cleaning at the vet, and her blood results showed there were no issues. Other than some of her fur being matted that the vet took care of, she’s a healthy girl.
Here’s a note from Millie’s foster home:
“Millie is a shy but very loving girl! She loves her people and can’t get enough cheek rubs and bum scratches! She loves to sleep in the bed at night and get cuddles in the morning. She doesn’t mind being carried and when she feels shy she will tuck her head under your arm. She has a very loud purr but a very quiet meow. She likes to have her hair brushed regularly, especially because she is a little overweight and has trouble reaching some areas to groom. She is shy in new places and would probably do best being kept in a smaller room like a bedroom for the first week until she adjusts to the rest of the house. If she could stay in your room with you that would be a dream for her! I believe she has lived with dogs in past as she is not at all phased by my dogs. She is still nervous of the resident cats and growls when they come too close but she is adjusting more each day. I think she will be fine living with another cat but will require a slow introduction. She is very ladylike- very tidy with the litter and eats her food in small portions throughout the day/night. She is happiest lounging on the couch or on the bed beside her people and makes a wonderful greeter when her people come in the door!”
Millie found her forever home with lovely people!
