May
** May found her forever home with lovely people! **
May and her five kittens were brought into Hamilton Animal Control after being found in a homeowner’s shed. The babies were about a week and a half old and so darn cute!
Dr. Fleming at Guelph Animal Hospital and her staff were kind enough to take on May and her babies to foster. We know the little family were in very good hands with Dr. Fleming! Staff at the clinic discovered that one of May’s babies had a congenital limb deformity. They named him Pretzel. Dr. Fleming and her team began treatment for Pretzel which included massage, acupuncture and physical therapy. Sadly though, after a few weeks, Pretzel’s health took a turn for the worse and he passed away in the loving arms of Dr. Fleming. Many people were touched by Pretzel’s sweet soul, and we’re happy he was surrounded by love for his short time here.
Since then, May’s remaining kittens (Dutchess, Peach, Purrito and Toad) have done very well, and they, and their mama are now available for adoption!
We are asking that the kittens be adopted in pairs. Click here to read all the reasons why double adoptions are best for kittens. Two kittens are twice the fun!
Here’s what their foster home has to say about this sweet family:
“Princess Peach
Peach likes to let everyone know she’s the princess of the litter! No matter what, she’s always in the mood for a good cuddle which usually ends with her falling asleep in your arms.
Dorito Spicy Purrito
Dorito Purrito is a tough kitten who loves to wrestle with his siblings. He is a purring machine. He is as entertaining as he is cute!
Toad
Toad can be a bit shy at first, but once he warms up he loves to play hide and seek! He loves exploring and is very curious which can at times get him into trouble!
Dutchess
Dutchess is always in the mood to play! This brave girl likes to boss around her other siblings, but loves a good snuggle.
Mama May
Mama May enjoys making friends with anyone and everyone! She gets along well with other cats and dogs. She loves to chat with you while getting lots of pets!”
