We really don’t like having to bring you bad news, but our sweet little Dot has passed away.
She started to show signs of illness over the past couple of days, and despite vet visits over those days, and an emergency vet visit late last night, whatever illness that had a hold of Dot’s wee body would not let go, and she passed away in the loving arms of her foster dad early this morning.
We send our heartfelt condolences to Dot’s foster dad, and we want to thank him, and the vets who did their best with such a tiny patient.

Rest well little Dot. We will never forget your sweet purr…

We rescued Dot from from a high-volume shelter in Quebec. Big thanks to Freedom Drivers volunteers for delivering Dot to Hamilton for us!

Dot was apparently found as a stray, and though she is far too young to be away from her mother, she is doing pretty well for being separated from her. She’s already eating canned food on her own which is great.
What can we really say about a super cute baby kitten? She’s super cute. And sweet. And she purrs up a storm when she sees you. She flops over for pats. And she has extra toes!!! Look at all those toes! There’s so many! Gah! We’re dying of the cuteness…
