Tequila
* Tequila and Taffy found their forever home together! Yay! *
We rescued Taco, Taffy, Tostito and Tequila! from a high-volume shelter in Quebec. Big thanks to the Freedom Drivers: Animal Rescue Transport volunteers for the lift to Hamilton!
All the kittens were quite ill with an upper respiratory virus upon their arrival. After a few weeks of quality food and medication, they’re all healthy, happy and ready to find their forever homes!
Taco has a leg deformity, but he gets around just fine with it. The leg may have to be removed, but under the advice of our vets, we’re letting him grow up a little before we go forward with this surgery. It’s likely the best time to remove the leg will be when he is in for his neuter surgery, but we’ll know more as he grows…
We ask that kittens be adopted in pairs if there are no other animals in the home. Click here to read all the reasons why double adoptions are best for kittens. Two kittens are twice the fun!
Here’s a report from their foster home:
“All four kittens are wonderful. They are all playful and loving to people. Honestly, their personalities are almost identical – happy, healthy, inquisitive, daring, sweet. They jump and climb like wild cats, but when they get tired, and you pick them up, they relax and bare their tummies for petting. They are purring machines.
Tequila, a female, is a little bit smaller than the others, and a tiny bit calmer. Taco, a male, is a tiny bit more interested in joining people and taking a rest with them. He sometimes goes for a nap on his own away from the other kittens. They all like playing and resting together, and they like my other cats. These kitties will make great pets.”
